Day 3...brief confusion...

AJ 1 : NY 1
current mood: kinda relaxed

The story continues...
the great Momo holds a meeting with all faction elders only to learn of the defeat of the Zelda elders, Neo and Trinity. The faction elders of Osiris, Link and Zee, volunteers to take down Agent Smith once and for all and since Osiris is the strongest faction of the four, Momo agrees.

and so Link and Zee carries out the mission with the accompaniment of 2 lackeys and proceed to the matrix. one of them was holding Smith off while the other got the elders to the scene. by the time they reached the place of the confrontation, Smith had defeated Osiris lackey #1 and corrupted him with the Smith virus. he then let Smith-copy-#1 go 1 on 1 with osiris lackey #2. after some cool display of kicks, punches and dodges, Smith-copy-#1 defeats Osiris lackey #2 and corrupts him, turning him into Smith-copy-#2. the Osiris elders realize that the copies were still humans who could be shot by their guns and pulled out their guns and started firing like there was no tomorrow. after some slo-mo-dodging of bullets, the copies were finally shot and defeated but Agent Smith remained unharmed as he was able to dodge all bullets. Link had no choice but to use his secret weapon that they had obtained from the pasar malam.(a night bazaar) Link pulled out Norton Anti-virus and Agent Smith dissolved away.

Agent Smith has been defeated...or so it seems...the story continues tomorrow...

the skits are rather interesting to watch especially with all the humour injected in.

day 3 is comparably better than day 2, which leads me to give NY a +1 for today.

we learnt another dance today. it's another couple dance to the music "summer sunshine" by the corrs and is a really fun dance to do. well, i got my wish and i got someone else to dance with, shuyi! she got assigned to another group but we are in the same faction so we got to dance together. it's good to dance with someone you know when you are learning because it's gets kinda awkward when there's too much body contact. well, we had fun and i really enjoyed myself.

ooh, we had 'wild games' today which aren't really wild but we pit against other groups from Nazgul in various stations. we won at the 1st station but lost the other 3. it's ok, we still had fun. i feel kinda lousy at station 3 though. we were playing dodgeball with these really light balls and we had trouble getting them to the other side so we just got crawled all over.

during faction time we played some games, learned some more cheers and the school song. the tune is kinda funny but luckily it doesn't require a large vocal range and is quite easy to sing. oh yea, we were choosing the representative to represent our faction in the Ny hunk and babe pageant 2005. i got sabotaged and represented my group as 'hunk'(some sense of conflict with what happened yesterday huh?) but luckily i wasn't picked to represent the faction. i think that David Yeo lookalike will represent us as hunk. i nominated sue lynn to represent us as babe but she's just too shy.

well, all that left us with like what, 25 minutes to walk all the way to the cafeteria and have lunch. i had to finish my noodles in 5 minutes or less after spending time queueing up.

the highlight of the day was the cca bazzar!( which is the source of my brief confusion) well, as expected, all cca's put up stalls and some tried to pull the j1's in. well, after walking all over the school compound i finally found the tennis booth in the hall along with squash, judo, table tennis and judo.( the hall's in level 3 while most of the stalls are either on level 1 or 2) they didn't seem very welcoming so after i enquired about where they practiced (the tennis court in the school is still under construction or rather construction of the tennis court should begin soon.), i put my name down and they told me that they would call me for the try-outs. so i walked another round and decided to sign up for dragon boat/canoeing(it's 1 cca) after consulting some of my friends. then i joined up with shuyi and the other girls and walked around the cca bazaar with them. we decided to rest near the some cca which i think is indian culture related (which meant that we would be quite safe). then some people from the zhong1 hua2 wen2 hua4 xue2 hui4 (chinese culture society or something) came over from their stall which wasn't too far away. the vice-president engaged us in a very friendly conversation and seriously i felt that it was most welcoming for the whole bazaar. i thought, "what the heck", and i put my name down to give it a go. (let me sidetrack, it doesn't seem to the average boring chinese drama club. i don't know why but i decided to give it a shot.) we went home soon after.

when i got home, i got into a dilemma. i just realized that dragon boat has 3 practices a week. along with tennis, that leaves me with 2 free evenings a week, monday and thursday.in addition, ken-neh and vinnie are joining dragon boat too. ken-neh by himself is ok, but when coupled with vinnie, they can be almost unbearable.great. also, the chinese society has activities on wednesdays, which totally clashes with tennis' wednesday and friday practice sessions. i'm really into tennis. but they have a try-out and i'm really afraid i can't get in. afterall, i just started late last year. also, the chinese society will be having a performance in the 1st 3 months (so i will still be there) which gives PEARLS points, but i don't know if i will still get the points if i change cca after 3 months of change JC during JAE. perfect, i don't know wether the cca i want wants me and i don't know wether i want the cca's i signed up for. i'm sure i'll have to quit at least 1 of them but which? after the PEARLS talk this morning i just want to get points. but i won't get much points if i join tennis because it's difficult to get achievement points. sigh~ now i want more than ever to be a student councilor because i've always wanted to be a student leader but has never gotten the opportunity to become one and also being one in JC gives very attractive points. but the thing is, u can't decide to be one, u have to wait for them to give you the opportunity before u can prove yourself at the auditions which really sucks.

after some considerations, this is what i have decided to do:
1)i will try dragon boat for maybe a few sessions and unless i REALLY like it, i will quit. this is because it is too time consuming and tiring and it might pose a problem while i try to handle triple sciences. furthermore, there are people that i don't really like hanging around which makes it difficult to be in the same group sport as them. i don't want to sabotage the team.
2)unless the chinese society decides to change to another day(which the vice-president said they might to suit the majority of the member's timetable), i will quit unless case 3 occurs.
3)i don't make it through the try-outs for tennis. then i will remain in the chinese society for the rest of PAE.
i'll decide what to do and where to go at JAE.

i'm quite proud of myself for being able to sort things out. i'll remember that schoolwork takes precedence over CCA. i'm really looking foward to the try-outs coming up and also The Quest which we will be embarking tomorrow in which we will venture outside of the school. i'm sure it will be fun. well, it's time for me to go again. i'm signing off! oyasumi nasai~
