sunday...ow....
current status: in painloez! you might be wondering what has happened. well, i've been kinda busy for e past few days so i couldn't blog.on friday, momo,ed,bamboo and i went to the uk funfair!!! some of the rides looked really fun but there are some lame ones as well. (the 'live' werewolf show looked pretty sucky too.) we took 1 ride which we felt was most fun and then we went to momo's house. we watched ju-on 2 which was really complicated and then proceeded to watch garuda. but the graphics was so sucky that i fell asleep slightly after the intro part.on saturday, we left momo's house in the morning and i went to get my singpass. the queue at the cpf building was comparable to macdonald's when they had hello kitty. i waited for more than 1 hour before i could reset my singpass.later, i went to school at 5pm for night cycling. we went to east coast park and got our bikes. we first went to a carpark nearby and warmed up. i think i'm the weakest cyclist. haha. so we set off at 10pm i think. we cycled like crazy and it was the first time i had to use the gear system which i barely knew anything about. we cycled from ecp to labrador park, to bukit timah, to yishun, to jalan kayu and back to ecp at 9am. the total distance was about 80km. the road up to bukit timah was really steep and there was a part where we had to ride across a boardwalk and it was really narrow and had many turns. if we fell over, it would mean plunging into the forests below us. that would have been a major oucher. it was a real challenge for me as my turning sucks.the road down was equally steep and i had a great time speeding down. whee! further down, i ran into the baricade and almost fell over into the forest. a few vehicles went past when that happened and i guess i looked pretty silly. there was this long stretch of flat road which was actually pretty nice to travel on and it was kinda misty and so the air was especially cold there, but it felt great! we also had the famous roti prata at jalan kayu. mr ong, the teacher-in-charge, drove a few of us back on a truck which was used as the safety vehicle. but it started to rain shortly after we got on. it didn't help much that one of the female j2's who was sitting directly opposite me was puking into a plastic bag. i just like made some noise and reminded her not to spill the puke and she called me a sissy. right...whatever you think puke-girl. maybe i did sound a bit whiny due to fatigue, but, well, who cares.well, i must have fell over fifty times in the one night. i also ran into lamp posts, road divider signs, curbs, fellow cyclists, tables, chairs, pedestrians, a van and many other things. a car also almost ran into me. i would say i'm a road hazard when i cycle. haha. now i'm just aching all over with muscle aches and bruises. but i would it was a great experience but i would think about it before going for any similar trips. it's both physically challenging and mentally challenging (having to stay awake.) i slept the whole day to make up for the loss of sleep.well, other than that.....tomorrow is THAT day! i'm nervous, anxious, excited and kinda scared but there's nothing i can do now....except to get more sleep. *yawn* i guess i'll go now. until tomorrow, cya~ oyasumi~
Day 38...now physically tired..
wah...now i'm physically tired after ODAC training. i don't really mind because it would be all ok after a good night's rest, unlike the other form of fatigue. let's just say my arm power still sucks so i have to train super hard now...can't type liao...THAT should be on monday...well, till i have the strength to type again...cya~ oyasumi~
Day 36...so emotionally tired...
great. i woke up late today. i woke up at 7.05am and i rushed to school without breakfast. i ran all the way to school and realized that my hair was in a mess because i didn't have time to do anything to it. great. school school school. after school we stayed back to do our bio poster and also photo journal. great. after that i went to cut my hair at waye ning's hairdresser. thanks for accompanying me. it looks different from what i've ever had. now everything is spiky. interesting. when i got home, my mum told me she forgot to buy ingredients for the dish that she had promised to make yesterday.(again) this is definitely not the first time this has happened. excuses excuses excuses. then she went on to ask about some silly rumour about THAT. great. now i'm really pissed. whatever. THAT is going to drive me nuts soon. can we just get it over and done with? aiyah, bye lar bye lar.
saturday...campus rumpus with the saints!
current status: waiting for naruto chapter 248 to be transliteratedtoday started off in a rush i rushed to meet yu ning and the others at 12pm at harbourfront mrt station. so had some cookies 'n' cream ice cream with some milk (okok, technically it's a milkshake but since i didn't shake it, i'll call it a milkstir. haha) for breakfast. hey, who cares about calories when you are in a rush? i took the train and met yuning and co. inside harbourfront station which made me realize that we were on the same train. the group of people included yu ning, waye ning, fang li, li san, wei hong, wei qi and some others whom i don't know. while we were in the station i saw daniel and kum long and waved to them. they were also about to set off to sa and since no one in our group was sure of how to go, we decided to tag along with them.the sajc campus is really old. but they are going to move to a new campus next year. when we got there, we decided to take a walk in the hall. there was so many people at sajc today that the noise was almost unbearable and it was virtually impossible to move about confined spaces. after visiting the hall, we decided to queue up for the haunted house. although the queue looked kinda long, it was actually moving considerably fast as people went in in groups of 4 to 7. this was bad. why? because i had promised eric that i would buy coupons from him and he was still making his way from ajc funfair. it was our turn and he wasn't here yet. great. fortunately , our group was way too big and we had to split into 2 groups. so i stayed for the 2nd group along with yu ting(who had met up with us), wei hong and wei qi. but the time that we managed to stall was not enough and it was our turn to go in. thank God the people in charge of collecting coupons before entering the haunted were in a state of confusion and they just let me through even though i hadn't gave them any coupons. yay! i got in free! well, i got pushed in first by yu ting and i had to in front of the group. it was pitch dark and i could hardly see where i was going. after we entered, there was a person in a mask(the type they use for fencing) with a torchlight and told us some scary story about the haunted house that had something to do with some guy killing his child and the grandmother wanted to save him but got killed too, i think. i couldn't really hear with all the screaming. so the person led us to this place and told us to look to our right where we could see a person with long hair combing her hair in front of a 'mirror'(obviously just a ring of cardboard) and then the 'reflection' just comes through the mirror and strangles the person.(more screaming around me) we then proceeded to where the person told us was 'the granny's room' where we see an 'old lady' with pretty gruesome make-up on a chair and a boy crouching. the old lady just walks past us then suddenly the boy lunges foward and tried to scare us. i admit i was surprised and did jump a bit. then we were told that there are 2 paths for us to choose and that we would have to proceed alone. we chose the left path. well, the rest of the journey involved having our legs touched, bumping into hanging spiders and voodoo dolls and not finding our way out. right. we then walked to the end where we managed to a door in the almost complete darkness if not for the dim light given out by some light sticks on the floor. we tried to open it but we realized there was a sign that said 'dead end'. then, we phone started to ring. it was eric and he called to tell me that he was finally here. geez. how anti-climatic. anyway, we wondered around the area because we really couldn't find the exit. one of the 'ghosts' finally showed us the door and we went out to meet up with the others. on the whole, it wasn't too bad but the one at zhonghua last yr was better.i left the group to meet up with eric and finally bought the coupons from him. when i went back to find them, they were gone and i called yu ting but she didn't pick up the phone. apparently waye ning, yu ning wei qi and some others went off already. so i walked around a bit until i met lik khian and his friends from tj(this has been happening quite often huh?) we continued to walk around. hey, sajc also has a rock band! after walking for a while longer, yu ting called me back and i met up with her. after meeting up i got a hot dog from one of the stalls. it was ok but a bit messy and i think a little too much ketchup. we then proceed to the canteen and got drinks. yu ting and one of her friends wanted to eat their friend's hokkien mee. i gave it a pass and got a roti prata with cheese.( i think it's the original famous one. the man who makes it looks familiar) i think it was a little overated and you can hardly taste the cheese. when i looked at the time i realized that i was running late so i bid farewell and spent the rest of my coupons on banana fondue. it was really messy and i got chocolate all over my hands and mouth. thank God i saw yu cui and co. and managed to get some tissue from them before i ran off to the bus stop. i smsed hui shan and decided that i should just wear what i was wearing to the parent's day because i won't be the only one not wearing school uniform or half u.i managed to meet up with my mum and bro and get there in time for the talk given by the principal. the next 1 and a half hour or so was a living nightmare for me. the topics i've been trying to avoid was not only brought up, but analyzed with great detail and was being slapped across my face time and time again. it was defnitely painful to experience. after the talk my mum seems even more convinced that i should stay at nyjc. i'm still pretty undecided at the moment. she even spoke to the principal at the reception after the talk and q&a session. the principal even sat down and had a short conversation with her. that was uncomfortable. we went home after having some light snacks.on the way home, ed smsed me to tell me that a report would be done on the news later on our trip to escape. when we got home, i turned the news on and saw the report. i managed to catch a glimpse of myself on the flipper. haha.the overall impression of sajc i got today is that it's a blend of VJC (which i dislike) and TJC (which i think is great). why? first the layout of the school is somewhat similar to TJC. when you first step into the school you will be walking into the classroom blocks, hall, canteen, lt's and etc. on the right of all the buildings is the track and to the right of that, it's the seats and also the tennis courts. second, i get some of the fun feeling i got at TJC but something was amiss. however, it was not the fakeness i felt in vjc. of course having a posuer rock band and the noise of the carnival didn't help me give a fair judgement of the school. also i just learnt that there are only 8 zhonghuarians there for the first 3 months and i only know i of them (eric). my attitude towards sajc has definitely less intense as before. now i really have no idea where i should go.(except for ajc. i just learnt that nyjc also has the people developer award but i've only seen ajc display the words really big on the wall of the front of the school to show that they have got the award. more proof of poor character in the school. flaunting achievements like this...geez...i'll NEVER want to go to ajc.)well, the first part of today was quite fun but the second part sucked. thank God the day ended pretty ok. well, since i'm not going for the vm tomorrow, i guess i'll go to the 2e6 outing. well, until tomorrow then, cya~ oyasumi~
Day 35...rain...
current mood: tired~nya~ no lessons today because we have to finish the worksheet from yesterday. my group worked in the library and we started talking about horosope and spreading rumours. it was quite interesting. at 10.40+am there was announcement for all j1's to gather at the hall at 11.30am. this is kinda like a spotcheck to see who decided that they should make themselves present at another venue.well after school, i was really bored and didn't want to go home too early because i would start thinking about THAT. so i finally managed to find xin xian who's the only one free and we went to orchard from j8. we walked from wisma to taka and went to kino. after walking for not more than 30min, her mum called and she had to go. so i roamed around orchard road by myself and i went to heeren HMV. i walked around and saw karta, li san and rachel (i only got the girls today). karta was getting some cd's. oh yea, he's going to u.s. next friday and will be staying there till 4 years later. li san was feeling very cold and she like put her hands on my neck to let me feel how cold they were...*blush*..so we walked around heeren together and even took neoprints. i don't know why either.after the neoprints, we decided to leave heeren. to our dismay, we found that it was raining heavily outside. they decided not to wait so we ran in the rain all the way back to taka. at taka, we went to b2 and bought some food. i bought 1 box of takoyaki and 1 box of bacon and cheese. we sat at the steps while we ate our food. after eating they decided to go mac and the got more food. li san got a choc mc colloso and karta got a mc flurry. we then proceeded to kinokuniya (again). while we were at kino we found this book with these optical illusion pictures in which you were supposed to see 3d pictures if you stare hard enough. after we were done staring, we went up to library@orchard because karta and rachel wanted to stay to watch the debate finals between HCI and ACJC. we tried looking for books similar to the one we found at kino but to no avail. li san wanted to go home so i decided to leave with her. she made her way to orchard mrt while i walked to dhoby ghaut. i took the train to chinatown because i heard that the anime shops origianlly in clark quay had moved there. i roughly remembered that it was at china square and i smsed ed to confirm it. so, i went to china square with no luck and i continued to far east square. i walked around and couldn't find anything at all. when i decided to head back to china square, the rain started to pour again. so i was stuck in that crappy place and i got a lollipop from a vending machine. after waiting for a while i decided to just run back in the rain. when i got back to china square, i realized that it was divided to 4 buildings and i've only been to 3 of them. so i decided what the heck and went to the last building. when i got to the 2nd floor of the building, i saw a few anime shops! well, they sold some vaguely anime-related merchandise but the shop i was looking for that sells vcds wasn't there. pacified, i left the building back to chinatown point where the mrt station was next to. i took the sheltered path to chinatown point and ended up on the 3rd floor. i was about to step on the escalator when something caught my eye. i decided to investigate and found that it was another anime shop! what's more! i think it's the one that sells vcd's at clark quay!!! uahh!! ureshi~ unfortunately they still haven't fully restocked yet so there wasn't anything i wanted but at least now i know it's there.so i went home after that. well, the SAJC carnival, campus rumpus is tomorrow!!! i really want to get a feel of what it's like over there.well, time to catch a few winks and hope i don't fall sick. until tomorrow, cya~ oyasumi~
Day 34...escape!!
current mood: kinda excitedyay!! we got to skip lessons today as we had experential learning at escape theme park! i got to the bus stop before 7.30am as planned to meet shuyi and her friends so we could go together. but one of her firends, connie, was soooo late. liyana and i were afraid that we might be late if we waited for her so the 2 of us decided to go off 1st. we met jeremy from odac and one of the osiris elite cheer team members (i forgot her name. sorry ar.). we talked throughout the journey and even exchanged lame jokes.when we finally got there we seperated as they looked for their group memebers so i went with amanda and her friends to downtown east. we almost got lost with me leading the way but luckily one of her friends pointed out that the bus was going the other way so we managed to find our way there. when we got there, i went to burger king to wait for my group members because we were supposed to meet there. after waiting for a while, i decided to call michelyn to ask if she saw any of my group members but she didn't. michelyn and her group eventually came to burger king to look me up and we waited together. then i got wei ming's number from her and called him only to find out that all my other gorup members were waiting at the main entrance of escape theme park. we finally managed to meet them there. while were waiting for permission to enter be given, a very confused roy approached me. somehow he caught wind that i was k-box after escape and somehow he thought that it was a class outing and wanted to come along and even ask other people. i couldn't find myself finding a way to explain it to him nicely so i juz looked really confused too. well, he just moved off like his usual self after a while. we waited in frot of the entrance for a really long time. after the long wait, we finally managed to go in.even though the whole place was booked by us, the queue's to the rides were still unbelieveable. first, we went for the pirate ship. the queue was ok and i think we waited for only about 10mins at most. next, we decided to go to the rainbow but when we got there, we decided that the queue was too long so we went off for the indoor roller coaster. the queue outside the building was not very long but the time it took for the queue to move was unbearable. after waiting for a very loooooooooong time, we managed to get inside only to find out to our dismay that the queue continued inside the building. the thing about the waiting area inside was that it was air-conditioned and that it had black-light and everything looked funny as light-coloured stuff glowed really brightly and we could see really fine lint or whatever all over us and our clothes. our nails, teeth and eyes also glowed. after another loooooooooong wait, we finally got to take the ride. it was kinda fun so i think that the wait was perhaps worth it. it turned out that we waited about 1 and a half hours for that ride and when we got out, the queues to the rides have shortened. so we went for the rainbow, wall's revolution and yakult and the flipper. personally i don't find the rides scary but some of the people really seemed scared. after that we went to a sheltered area to rest where we could play pachinko and other games. after playing for a while, i called yuning and we decided to sneak away without roy seeing to prevent any complications so yuning, waye ning and i went to look for their friend wei qi and we went off to bk together. after eating, we hailed a cab to amk k-box.we waited at the k-box for a while before ed and the others came. we decided to get one room for the 8 of us. so we sang la. what else could we do at k-box? ok, the waiter dude had a totally sucky attitude lor and when we asked for refills of our tidbits (which we rightfully can do.) he like warned us very sternly "only one ar". what the hell?! when we were singing halfway, wei qi had to go off and asked yuning to pay for him first which she did. so he owes yuning $11 and owes me $2.50 for the taxi. well, we continued singing even after time was up because no one chased us out and we sang like 1 hour over the time given. hahaha. i guess we are all very thick-skinned. when we got out i asked the lady at the desk wether there has been a change in policy about the refills and told her that the attitude of the waiter sucked. the lady said that it must be the new guy so we said we were just checking because he refused to give us our tidbits. i don't think he'll stay very long at this job for some reason or another.after that i went for dinner with ed because all of them went home for dinner. we walked around a few times and finally decided to eat ramen at s-11. i guess the sudden craving was due to the fact that we sang the ramen song by energy while we were at k-box. after dinner, we just walked around a bit, looking at manga.before i went home he passed me his old webcam and driver. i brought it home, showered and set it up. now my friends can see me on msn!!! yay!!!*yawn* so tired...must sleep...regardless of how hard i tried, i was reminded several times today about THAT again...well..i guess i just have to try harder to avoid it. well, gtg catch some z's. until tomorrow(or rather today. just keep in mind that i started typing this post on 17 feb), cya~ oyasumi~
Day 33...will i be able to get it?
current music: konjiki no gashbell OP2 - scabuwahh!!!! it's still so hot today!!! if the temperature doesn't subside soon, i'm going to get a really short haircut. i think i'll wait till i get my results before cutting my hair. today is pretty normal. today is wednesday so we sang the college song today. somehow i just can't sing it with as much fervour as i normally would. for some reason or another, i somehow think that i'm not really well liked by people in my class. i've noticed on several occasions that it's like they don't want to sit next to me. most of the time, there'll be one person sitting next to me and the other seat next to me would be empty. am i really that offending? i don't see any problems with people from my og though. this makes me feel rather uncomfortable and is starting to deter me from staying in ny. this happened again during assembly and i had to sit through assembly alone lor. *hic* i dunno why but i suddenly got a fit of hiccups. hmm...could it be a sign?anyway, *hic* we watched 2 other classes debate today during our gp lecture. the motion was that "this house believes that women is the root of all evil". 05s7a was the proposition while 05s7d was the opposition *hic*. i personally felt that the debate between the 2 groups were quite lame and shallow. 7d got pretty emotional and started using vulgarities while 7a stood firm. however, both teams had so many loopholes that they could beat any block of *hic* cheddar cheese. well, 7a won in the end because it was afterall *hic* a debate and not an argument and they had a better structure for their debate.after gp we had physics. blah blah blah. boring. after which we had a break. i wanted to grab a bite because i had ODAc today but the canteen was so crowded and the queue was sooooooooooo long. i managed to get a totally unsatisfying and expensive baguette thingy which was totally unfilling. geez, no wonder that stall had such a short queue. i wanted to grab a banana milkshake or banana but the queue at the fruit stall was too long. after the break, it was chem lecture*hic* followed by*hic* bio and gp tutorial. during gp tutorial we practiced for our debate next week. the motion is "this house would do without men" and we are the proposition. we witnessed an equally weak debate but with a difference. some of the debaters on the teams had some personal thing with another on the other team and they were trying to use this opportunity to get each other. i don't know if we can wing it next week. after gp, we stayed back for a while to discuss our groupings for our experential learning tomorrow (see below). i rushed to change after we were done and met another odacian in the toilet. we rushed down to the canteen to assemble but we were still late.well, for odac we took a bus to ang mo kio again to practice for the vertical marathon this sunday. today each of us had to climb to the 30th floor, take a lift to the 10th and go back up again. tt's 50 storeys at our best time. when it was my turn to go, i was hardly even ready. when i was up halfway, i just like had no more energy left and really slowed down.*hic* i then realized i hadn't had real food and i don't think i drank any water today. crap. i endured and managed to finish all 50 sotreys. i think i got the worst time of 8 min 09sec. crap. after the stairs we did some jumping jacks and squats before we went home. we are given 6 tickets each to our screening of the LoTR: RoTK extended version to sell which is a fundraising project. tickets are $3 each. a few of us (yes, including me) won't be running for vm because we have exceeded the maximum quota given to us. i don't know if i'm going on sunday to give them my support. i think they'll do without it anyway. they say they aren't sure if they can refund us the money because the cheque has been sent. $10 leh! i'm going to hit their head if they don't gimme back my money*hic*!odac finished at 5.30 today so i managed to get home intime to watch gashbell!! the stupid scv preview is going to end soon! i need to get the vcd if i wanna watch...but the series still hasn't ended in japan...how...T_T...gashbell....we are going for experential learning tomorrow at escape theme park so we won't be having school *hic*. yay!! but we*hic* have many stupid tasks to do...*hic* this *hic* includes doing a photo essay *hic* and answering some really lame qustions. we are even *hic* testing the effectiveness of lime and kaolin *hic* clay as a sunscreen. right. worse still, we won't be able to buy food while we are there.(they say this is part of total defence...right...) well, at least we have the whole park to ourselves. i'm going k-box with yuning and fangli and their frenz and liting and ed and their frenz to k-box after escape! i think i might be a bit extra leh. how? !!!i juz went *hic* to the singapore anime news forum and noticed that *hic* kaurqin still has some PoT polos for sale! kuru~ i just sent her an e-mail regarding this and i hope the sizes are suitable and that i can get some! i just want to keep myself distracted. lalalala. well, until tomorrow then, cya~ oyasumi~
Day 32...heatwave...hot...
current temperature: atsu~ wow...today is really hot...the temperature is still so high at night...ahh...i'm melting...time to turn on the air conditioning...other than the temperature, everything seems pretty normal today. we had p.e. today and we continued playing soccer which i still totally suck at. somehow i can't get much force into the ball when i kick it...ooh yea...the student councillors made an announcement to get j1's to sign up to be ogls for orientation 2.9yes, this means the return of momo and the elders. apparantly there are rumours that the matrix is going to be rebooted, meaning smith would be back so they need new warriors to fight smith again. whee.) well, i had already seen the poster-thingys up yesterdasy so i had already put my name down but the applications were not available yesterday yet. the forms were made available today but they were grabbed fast. i managed to get one because xiao yan took 1 extra for me (we put our names down together yesterday along with wen hui after our mahjong session). apparently i have to put a photo on the form and also my o's results and my choice of jc's and get permission from my parents and approval from my civics tutor. and, if i do get picked, i think i have to go through an interview. so troublesome right? well, i'm not even sure if i will submit the form yet. i guess everything depends on the o lvl results. since the form has to be submitted by 1st march, i guess that means that the results wil be out next week. i feel excited yet reserved about it...i can finally know what's the next step in my life...but what if it isn't what i want? sigh~ well, some of our ct went out for lunch together at a coffeshop nearby. i ordered roated duck rice with extra duck because i just had this sudden craving for duck. amas was damn scary. he ordered pig trotter and rice. he managed to reduce the trotter to nothing in no time at all and that was scary...anyway, after we finished, hui sin pulled out a cake with a candle on it and we sang a birthday song to wei ling because it's her birthday today. there was suddenly a strong gust of wind which made it impossible to light the candle but we tried our best. in the end, wei ling didn't know if she was the one to blow out the candle or if the wind did. we all had some cake and we went back to school for our lessons.after lessons, we stayed back to play mahjong again. michelyn kept throwing out the winning card for others but she kept refusing to shuffle the cards...poor xiao yan had to shuffle the cards for her. anyway, we concluded with xiao yan 1: wen hui 2: michelyn 2: me 3. hahaha. i won today!i managed to get home in time to watch gashbell again. it's so nice!!!!well, i can't catch it tomorrow or thursday because i have odac tomorrow and we have experential learning on thursday. i'm supposed to wear the white zion tee and black shorts for odac tomorrow and i think i have to bring swimming trunks again. i'm still quite uncomfortable to be in trunks leh...yu ting just told me that i've been rather cold towards them. i have? i didn't realize it at all...maybe because i've been feeling tired...the release of results isn't helping much either. and vertical marathon this sunday...and tests and so many things which i can't think of now. i need endorphins...(is that how u spell it?) i hafta stuff myself with chocs...well, tomorrow will be another day closer to the fateful day...no date has been confirmed but u can feel it practically chewing at your toes...arghh...well, until tomorrow, cya~ oyasumi~ time for chocolate!!
Day 31...wow my com was really down for a long time...oh yeah, happy valentines!!
Current music: Da Xi Men - Rock The PartyHappy valentine's day!! nya~ i feel so guilty because i received so many presents today but i didn't prepare any. well...my friends would understand. hahaz.ooh...the current song i'm listening to, Rock The Party is a mandorap track that has a lot of j-hop element in it which made me really like it the very first time i heard it (it was on the radio yesterday night). i think xi da men is a new taiwanese group and i really look foward to their album because their style is so much like my favourite, rip slyme!! (speaking of which, i'm waiting for their 4th album "masterpiece" to be stocked at HMV)well, i was showered with presents from shuyi, yu ting, liyana, hui sin, michelyn and james(our ogl) when i got to school today! thank you guys! hmm...oh yeah, amanda and kah yee and their friends set up a stall and i was hoaxed into buying "glass jelly" drink from them. ok la, it wasn't too bad.aaahhhh!!! today during bio tutorial, mrs tan asked who didn't do their homework and threatened to throw those who didn't out of the class. luckily, being as nice as she always is, she just closed one eye and we got away.(hey, my com crashed for a really long time and the past few days have been and is the lunar new year celebrations!) i managed to bluff my way through without being noticed. kekeke. well, of course, i'm a good boy and i've just finished doing my bio research before blogging. kuru~school ends rather early on mondays and michelyn, wen hui and xiao yan stayed back so we could play mahjong! wen hui brought a mahjong card set and we played till around 5 because xiao yan had to go to marine parade to collect some photos for her parents. the final score was, wen hui 3: xiao yan 1: michelyn 3: me 1. it just wasn't my day today. ph yeah, before we started we finlaized the design of the class jersey and the logo. i think it looks really nice.i managed to get home in time konjiki no gashbell today!! the style is so cute!!! i love it when the characters get angry or stunned because their eyes get all googly and their teeth turn into razors! haha! i'm really considering getting the vcd or manga or both.!!!!desperate housewives is on!!! must go watch! and wanyu after that! yay! so many things to keep my mind away from the release of o's results which shud be either end of next week or the beginning of the week after that. well, cya tomorrow!! oyasumi in advance!!
saturday...aaahhh...tan line!!!!
current mood: tired...current music: mayday - sun wu kongwah!!today is a great day! i woke up at around 9 when i heard my bro watching miramo zibang on kids central. so i had my breakfast of roti prata with eggs while watching tv. when yu-gi-oh! started showing, i went to change into my zhonghua p.e. shorts and white zion tee because it's some super old episode. after that i filled by water bottle and got ready during powerpuff. i then sat down to watch pokemon. today's episode is "A Spheal of Approval". the link to an episode synopsis is available at http://pkmn-source.net/index.php?page=episodes/312/index (credits to pokemon source. arigato!)i set off for east coast right after pokemon. i waited for bus 135 and when the bus finally came, i got on it. to my surprise, i saw 2 ODAC (outdoor activities club, one of my cca's) seniors, Sheryn and Eugene and another J1, Ernest on the bus. so we sat together and we talked. another senior came on the bus later but i'm still not sure who he was. so when we finally reached marine parade around 45 minutes later, we got off the bus. Eugene was hungry so he went to the hawker to get food i think. Ernest and i accompanied Sheryn to the supermarket to get her ribena and also water. i also bought an extra bottle just in case. eugene met us up and the supermarket. when we finally got to the macdonald's at east coast, most of the other odacians are already there, including the teacher-in-charge. so after waiting for another period of time we finally went to the inline skate rental shop and rented our skates. i have actually tried to skate before but i still don't know how to skate. so we put on our skates and brought our bags to a tree and surrendered our valuables into a plastic bag which was safeguarded. we then went off to learn at a place for begginers which i have dubbed "newbie land". so we learnt how to skate. the day just flew by with us learning how to skate and i dare say that i think i can 70% skate after being taught by the seniors. yay! oh ya, i have some trouble breaking and there was once i went too fast and i crashed into a railing. i managed to grab onto the railing but i still flew out of the area into the grass and i think i hurt my back. well, we went back to return our skates at around 5pm. we were debriefed and we were dismissed. we then went to mac to eat but a few of us, including me, just went to 7-eleven and grabbed drinks. then i took 135 to ang mo kio to my aunt's place.pei si, jovin, hui fang, hui min, crystal, ernest, alvin choy and me were on the bus. so they alighted one by one or sometimes in pairs until only ernest and i were left, so we talked. then i asked him what was his cca in secondary school. then he told me to guess. he said that it was a sport so i named everything i could think of but none of them were correct. then we were at the bus stop right before the bus interchange which was less then 3 minutes bus ride away and he told me that if i could guess crrectly before we reached, he would give me a chocolate bar. somehow i suddenly recalled that i have tried gym so i said "gym?" and i was right! so the point of this whole paragraph is just so that i have witnesses who knows that ernest owes me a chocolate bar. haha.oh ya! sheryn said that we would not have training next saturday because we have the vertical marathon on sunday and that we would go night cycling the week after next! she also said that we would have 1 star and 2 star kayaking courses coming up soon if we stayed on at ny odac. so some of them planned for us to play mahjong at choy's house nex saturday but it's also the st. andrew's jc (sajc) carnival which i'm pretty interested to turn up for. well, we'll just see how things go.anyway, i stopped at a few bus stops early and had to walk to my aunt's place. we started dinner soon after i arrived an changed. first, we had yu sheng which i just "lao"ed but didn't eat. we also had mushrooms with sea cucumber, chicken with celery and asparagus in x.o. sauce, stir fried abalone, pork in dark soy sauce, fuzhou fishballs (the kind with meat inside) and chilli crabs. it wasn't too bad. then we played a few rounds of mahjong. we were just playing for fun and i didn't really win many rounds. we went home at around 10.30pm.on the way home, my dad started talking to me about choice of jc's which really pissed me off because i had been really stressed by it and finally got it off my mind till the release of the results. so i started to lame with him non-stop all the way home and even continued when we got home. too bad. he was the one who reminded me.ahh!!!!after an afternoon in the sun, i now have horrible tan lines! my sleeves! aaaaaahhh! wrist guards! aaaaaahhhh! noooooooooooooooooooooo. and i'm really red...i wonder if i'm sunburnt....i certainly hope not...great, my mum just came into the room with a mug of cooling tea...the taste sucks lor....i hate the taste of luo han guo....well, whatever. until tomorrow, cya~ oyasumi~
