tjco concert: song sheng zhu yun 2005!
wah~ today was great! ok, i woke at around 8.40am and i prepared to go to school. my dad fetched me to school and i reached there at around 10.30am in my white long-sleeved shirt (sleeve folded up), black pants and leather shoes. then the dizi section practiced at the 2nd floor because the alumni was using the co room and there was temasek academy open house. so we practiced till around 12 i think when xu guang told eveyone to pack up. we moved all the percussion instruments and stringed instruments onto the truck. then all of us got onto the bus and we went off to singapore conference hall.by the time we got there, ichun had already reached liao (she had an appointment with the doctor this morning.). so we put our stuff into a room and then they had rehearsal while people who were not involved in the pieces yet did our own things. so ichun and i hid at the stairs and practiced our pieces. we practiced until their break when we were found by the rest of the dizi people. then yuan xu asked ichun and me to buy some bread for those who are hungry. so we walked quite a bit and bought some bread and hum jin peng. so we brought back and then everything was ravaged by those pipa girls. i didn't know girls could have such big appetites. lolz. it's ok la, then we went in for the rehearsal for the encore pieces. after that we had dinner. after dinner, ichun and i went to man the ticketing booth with the help of jiayi and meihui. wah...it was total chaos! there were dunno how many people and so many money transactions! oh! my mum and my bro came! ed and qi en came a while later! well, at least we got the right amount of money. total amount received was $1602 i think. wah, never handle so much cash before. talked to my supporters during the interval before going backstage.after some more waiting, it was finally our turn to perform! we managed to pull the 2 encore pieces off! ureshi~after that, we packed up and went back to tj. dunno y like even though there's more things to move as compared to band, the workload seems to be much lighter and done more efficiently. i think it's the attitude ba. even the girls did their best to move as much as they can.after everything, some of us went to mac for supper with some alumni. we met the some of the other people there. we talked cock again. hahaz. i guess it's just part of co life. then we took cab home. wah first time seeing many of the alumni people.thanks people like ed and qi en who showed their support! thanks zirui for the flower! thanks the sc ushers for the choc! thanks to all my dizi seniors (ok la, practically everyone else in dizi) for giving me guidance and putting ichun and me into the concert even though we've only touched the dizi for around 3 weeks. thanks everyone!hahahaz. now everyone in dizi has got at least a nickname!felicia: felix; felix-jie~luuan chin: xiao chin-jie~yuan xu: ah xu ge~; yuan yuanxu guang: ah guang ge~; bunnyichun: zhen si mei; junjun; hao du gui(avid gambler); xi jun(germs)yan siang: yogi bear (yogi)cray: fishyme: polar bear (polar)so kewl~ oh, some other co members aso got nicknames!sze lang: se lang(pervert)cong wu: cong(3) wu(4) (pet); yuan yuan yuanrui long: ah longyonglin: urchin; pooh bear; urchin the pooh (pooh)abelyn: bao ya saohuh...today is probably the last time performing with the year 2's...so sad...everything seems so fast...oh! i found my xing huan(uhh..new love)! it's called ba(1) wu(3). it looks like a dizi but it plays like a harmonica with key holes and the fingering is similar to a picolo's i think. i think it's in the dizi family. if we r going to play any song that has a part for ba wu i will fight for it! haha. it's quite easy to play la.i'm sure there's going to be more excitement in co. well, until next time, cya~ oyasumi~
practicing hard~
so many things happened this week! ichun and i are actually performing the 2 encore pieces for the tjco concert! it's so amazing la! we've only been learning for less than a month leh. i really thank e dizi seniors for helping us and pushing us for the concert. so i have to practice now! so exciting!oh ya, we went for some kind of outing with some of the co people last night! yuan xu, xu guang, cong wu, ichun, luuan chin and i went to tampine mall to watch the amytiville horror. i personally felt that it was damn scary la. maybe it was because of the atmosphere ba. ichun was like covering her eyes. and i was hugging the di dai. lolz. too bad wang liang and some others went to watch kingdom of heaven.just now, zi xian, cray and i went to tm again for dinner. then zi xian went to buy her shoes for tomorrow. u know how girls can shop la. so while she picked and tried on her shoes, cray and i talked quite a bit la. wah..both of them stay in exec apartment one leh...so rich...and cray looked so different when he was in sec 3!(he showed me his student pass) so scary...oh! oh! i realized that i'm the youngest dizi player now leh! year 2's no need to say la but ichun was born in 1986(she's from taiwan), cray's birthday is in march, yan siang's birthday was last week then my birthday is 31 may...so cannot bully me ar. hahaz.wednesday after school, yesterday and today was the sports carnival at tjc. it's quite fun la. there wasn't any lessons on thursday and friday. the 29th sc decided to run the 2.8km together la. so we stayed overnight in school before we ran early in the morning. they showed some movie la but it was kinda boring la so i went to co room with rui long and practiced a bit before sleeping on the sofa in the cozy corner. so shiok, still got air-con somemore. the rest had to sleep at the sports complex and fed mosquitoes and suffered in the rain la. so we ran the 2.8km run at about 6.40am or so.i signed up for soft tennis so i played yesterday. my team put me as men's singles la i aso dunno y. all e opposing teams put very strong players in singles and not so good ones in doubles la. an accident happened and i kinda injured my elbow. minor injury la, no worries. kekeke.i just went to the co room right after assembly today. we played mahjong. hahaz. i just realized like almost everyone played ming xing san que yi before. lolz. then after that i went to practice dizi until around 11am then i went to sports com and bought some food. then i went to the sports apparel stall. everything was so cheap la. actually i wanted to buy shoe bag one, but out of stock liao. then i went back down when i saw the poster for the salomon shoes. they were selling each pair at $49 only! i went up to have another look and found a design that i liked and i tried for size and bought it. so happy. usual price $100+ la. then i went back to co room and tried to help out with the booklets and then we went for lunch. during lunch we talked cock and talked dirty la. haha, co is so crazy!oh, we had our sc investiture on wednesday also. ok la, not bad. dunno y they never invite aj. but the official handover of the sc room in mid-june. anyway, the student's lounge is not here yet so basically i've got nothing to do for now.hmm...i went to orchard with ed on tuesday after school to buy my attire for tomorrow's performance. $48 for long sleeved shirt and black pants leh...i know it's kinda cheap liao but...*sob*aiyo, so late liao i'm afraid i will disturb other ppl leh. see how la, i'll give my best tomorrow! until, next time, cya~ oyasumi~
rhapsody 2!
nyaa~ can't find heartsdales!!! the ajco and band concert not bad la. hahaz, i didn't know that wang sheng was also the conductor for ajco. the 2 pieces that ajco and band played together were quite interesting.oh ya, now i'm trying to sell tix for the ajco concert nex sat. do tell me if u r interested. dizi section r0x0rs! there's just some kind of wierd bond amongst us. hahaz. wah...a bit sad leh...the seniors are going to leave us soon and like the 4-5 of us will have to xiang yi wei ming...it's like we barely had any time with the seniors...ooh...i bought ah jiao yesterday and tried to replace the di mo. i'll bring it tomorrow to show them and get them to see wether i've done it right.omg...no time to study for maths...how? how? how? hmm...dunno y like nothing much to say today. in that case....let's have a....-------------------------------------------------------------------SUNDAY DISCUSSION:things i've learnt about chinese orchestra so far!the instruments:qui da (wind and percussion)--->dizi(chinese flute) - my instrument! it's crafted from bamboo, usually segments that are binded together although it is possible to find some that are crafted from a single long piece of bamboo. one side will be plugged so the air will only come out from the other end. key holes are made in the bamboo. there's a hole that has to be covered by a piece of membrane,di mo(flute membrane), which is called the mo kong(membrane hole). the di mo gives the dizi it's bright sound with its vibrations. the di mo is stuck onto the di kong using ah jiao, a type of chinese medicine. each dizi can play around 3 octaves. they are basically categorized into 3 sub groups, bang di, qu di and xin di. bang di are the small ones and usually have more melody than the rest but generally the dizis play the melody together la. qu di are the bigger ones. xin di are just dizi that don't use membranes but just cover the holes with tape or something, then they will sound like the western flute.suona: it's a double reed intrument which i find to be quite similar to a clarinet or an oboe. well, there's the gao yin suo (high-range) and zhong yin suo(middle-range). we dun have a di yin suo(low-range) in tjco but i think should have right(wait or izzit got di yin but dun haf zhong yin...hmm...)...traditionally the gao yin suo is used for weddings while the others usually for funerals. good players can make the suona sound like a saxophone la. it's quite loud.sheng: it's actually quite similar to that keyboard instrument that u have to blow into a mouthpiece that leads to a tube. ok la, instead of plastic, the sheng is the wood and metal version but it looks more like an organ. it's also bigger la. there are several types of sheng and other than the di yin sheng, u have to blow into a metal mouth piece and press round keys on the keyboard. for the di yin sheng, u have to carry the whole intrument so it's kinda more like some brass instrument la since it's all metal. it's like the tenor wind instrument la.percussion: kinda similar to the percussion in band except they have some special drums like the pai gu and also the thingy with lots of metal plates. co percussion doesn't include a drum set although we have the cymbals. xuan yue (bowed instruments)--->erhu/zhong hu/gao hu: yupz yupz, i didn't know there was a difference either. non-co players usually just categorize all into erhu but actually there are diffrent ones with different keys. they all have the same basic structure of a body that is made of wood, 2 strings, the sound box that's covered with some kind of skin and a bow that is made of wood and horse hair. i think it's kinda similar to the violin or cello. also gets the melody at times.cello: uhh...u know la...i also dunno y it's in co double bass: same...but i think it's because there are no chinese intruments that can give the bass effect that's why we need the double basstan bo yue (plucking instruments)--->gu zheng: well, i've seen this in zhonghua. it's the big wooden thing that has got loads of strings across it. fake nails are usually worn while playing.yang qin: a bit similar to guzheng but it's not as broad. sticks are used to hit the strings instead of plucking them.pipa: looks a bit like a guitar but it's more curvy. usually played with a tab.liu qin: looks like a smaller version of the pipa to me. hahaz.zhong ruan/da ruan/ xiao ruan: resembles a banjo in appearance. yupz they come in different sizes and pitch too.there are other less commonly played intruments such as the xiao (chinese vertical flute), the wind instrument that is made of clay and has many holes and the other one made from a hulu (some wierd shaped fruit).the scores:well the scores are usually in numbers like 1= doh, 2 = re ,etc. the notes are easier to read than the normal score that we use for band. but it's hard to get the rhythm just by looking at the score because there are no quavers or crotchets. intead, we have to get the rhythm just from a line or a dot after the note.the music:quite different from band music la. dunno how to explain also. the people (tjco):yea, they r nice lah but inter-section bonding still needs some work. i mean we get along ok la but not really close. intra-section bonding rocks! i love my section! dizi rocks! years ones! ichun! yan siang! cray! year twos! luuan chin! xu guang! yuan xu! felicia!hahaz, i don't wanna get into details yet la. i'll leave that to after the camp.the pro-ness:we have all kinds of pros lah. our year 2 concert master is the national champion erhu player. vera from erhu is in dunno wad PAYCO. then cray is in omniarts. semi-pro organisations leh...can make money...dunno still got who lah but confirm still got a lot of other wo hu chang long (crouching tiger hidden dragon) that i don't know about yet lor.the stress (on me): haha. everyone so li hai lor...i feel so n00b and useless. even ichun is better than me lor. she has got flute background and some natural talent. then still got studies and sc. dunno wether i should rejoin taekwondo...i want but i'm afraid i won't have the time or can't manage...but i'll do my best in whatever i do lah. well, at least i have friends in tj now. :)-------------------------------------------------------------------well, that's all for this week. until next time, cya~ oyasumi~
the bet!
currently practicing: uhh...that encore piece lah...dunno how to say the name in english....alright! must practice until i can play that song! i will win the bet!anyway, today was great! we went down to support badminton after school! yupz, our badminton teams both advanced into the finals. there was one very pro guy damn funny la. everytime he gets a point he will "yea!". i think it's to taunt the opponent la. after the matches ended, ozy, suni, ah foo and i took mrt back to tj because we knew by the time we reached toa payoh, the bball match would've already ended. anyway, we won the bball finals! it's the first time in 20 years! wow~we got back and collected our blazers. then i went for co! so fun! ichun told me that she could play a song already i was quite shocked. then my ego kicked in and i said i could also learn to play a song. so we bet wether i could learn the song by tomorrow.so i started practicing. i borrowed some dizis from xu guang and i'm practicing real hard now wish me luck. oh ya, i dun haf ah jiao so i used paper and tape to seal the di kong first. well, until next time, cya~ oyasumi~
sunday discussion: manga and anime i like!
kuru~ i know i should be doing my tutorials now but i just can't resist writing a sunday discussion today!anyway, today was pretty ok. since there wasn't church last week because of the don't know what meeting and i had council camp the week before, it's like my first time in church for weeks. ooh...uncle russ is taking over for the next term...hmm...well, i've decided that i should be special in my own right la. i'm not that totally lousy and plain and boring. not everybody can have the same achievements so i want to shine with a different kind of light. i want to influence and show my abilities in my own way. i'll just try my best. ok la, the above paragraph is actually written because i want to coax myself out of feeling inferior and depressed. hahaz. i don't know how i can feel so optimistic and energized but yet have a sense of depression tugging at me at the same time. i think i'm going to be my first test subject wether i'll be doing psychiatry or psychology. lolz. oh ya, for those who don't know, my ambition is to either become a psychiatrist or a clinical psychologist. i know it's quite different but i just don't know why i have this undying interest for both. anyway, that's why i have to work hard! psychiatry means doing medicine first and psychology seems to be a pretty popular course too.oh ya, after some thought, i think like tjcians tend to have something big that had happened to them in the past or had some great difficulty leh...some are more serious than others la but somehow...hmm...maybe it's because at this stage of our lives, something must have bound to happen to us? or is it exclusive to tjcians?
yay yay yay! so happy! friends! motivation! persistence! woo hoo! i think i'm high on endorphins! whee! must be those cappuccino flavoured kit kats! must stock up liao! wahaha!anyway, let's move on to the more important....-------------------------------------------------------------------SUNDAY DISCUSSION: manga and anime i like!this was inspired when i realized quite a lot of the people i know in tj like manga and anime too! so i'm going to talk about those i like!Naruto: i download the manga every week! i haven't watched the anime but i heard from many that it's very good. it's about a young ninja called Naruto and his adventures with his friends. very hard to explain in detailed la. oh ya, Naruto has kyuubi (nine-tails fox) sealed in him. this is both a bad thing and a good thing la.Satan 666: there's no anime yet so i just read the manga. this is by the twin brother of the mangaka(artist) of naruto so their styles are quite similar. it's about this boy called Jio and he's actually satan but he doesn't know it. then there are o-parts which are actually weapons which have elemental powers. yup, yup, more fighting.bleach: reading the manga and watched some of the anime. i think the art rocks. it's about ichigo who happens to become a shinigami not really by his choice. then there are evil spirits called hollows. yupz. u get the idea.(i know my sypnoses sucks la. u have to read or watch it yourself to see why it's they are so interesting.)tsubasa - reservior chronicles: it's a CLAMP production. some kind of crossover with many characters from previous CLAMP series but all with different roles. as in the names and appearance may be the same but they are not related to the original series in any way. well, except for the xxx-holic ppl la. some evil guy tried to steal princess sakura for her power to cross dimensions but siaoran manages to stop e guy but sakura's memories were scattered through out diffrent dimensions in the form of feathers. now siaoran must cross dimensions with the aid of mokona and retrieve sakura's memories.one piece: the manga is too long la. i might read it next time la but now i just watch the anime on kids central haha. yes, it's about luffy, the pirate in a straw hat with rubber powers and the crew. they are on a journey to find some great treasure.rozen maiden: finished watching the whole series liao. very nice! about some dolls that have roza mystica which allows them to be like humans and how they influence the sheltered life of sakurada jun.shaman king: the series developed quite nicely one. but the ending of both the anime and manga just kinda sucked.gundam seed destiny: the sequel to the popular gundam seed series and possibly the last anime in the gundam series. well, seed was meant to be the last but it's popularity was overwhelming. i think the plot of GSD just gets a little retarded after a while. and most of the gundams are just like copied from seed. prince of tennis: it's nice la but gets a little monotonous after a while. and there should be more girls tennis in it.fullmetal alchemist: the manga is so nice! about edward and alphonse elric and their (screwed-up) lives as alchemists.death note: about light (it's e guys name) who finds a deathnote and starts killing criminals with it. the polic are after him now.konjiki no gashbell: about gashbell, one of the hundred modoko sent to earth to duke it out to become the king of the modoko world and his human partner.(can't remember the japanese name)well....i'm pretty sure there's more but that's all i can think of right now.-------------------------------------------------------------------ooh...ed smsed me saying he's back from his council camp and it's quite tough but fun. but it's only 1.5 days and 1 night...i don't think it can beat our camp. hahaha. well, until next time, cya~
sunshine after the rain!
quote of the day (or rather yesterday) - "Just give your best!" - Mrs Ng (ok la, she was referring to SPA but somehow it inspired me.)wahaha!!! i'm feeling so much better today! i still had a headache after i woke up but i began to feel better once i was in school!okok. my interview for co comm was scheduled today. so i reached tj at around 10.15am. so i went to the co room and found that they were waaaaaaaaay past behind schedule. they were prepared to interview like 3 or 4 people in half an hour but they ended up taking 20-60 min per person. so like a group of us were queueing outside. it was like co interaction session la. i realized that intersection bonding wasn't very good la but everyone was like asking around who the other person was and etc. i got to know a few more co members today. we really talked a lot today and got to know each other much better. for instance i managed to know the other year one dizi player, yan siang. ok! i guess i know my whole section liao. i think there's still another china guy but i haven't seen him around. hmm...somehow i think i feel a bit stressed when cray is around. dunno why but i keep thinking he's better than me in so many ways. ooh....i promise never to drink soya milk or eat soy products again. hmm...i din know the guy suona player is ah long's(rui long la) cousin.after a looooooong wait(without lunch. just a packet of sugarcane juice. oh. i owe cray $1.), it was finally my turn!(my interview was scheduled at 10.30 but i think it was nearly 3pm liao.) hmm...somehow i think my interview was like quite fast lah. oh ya! thank you guys so much for even letting me run! lolz. (1) i'm like a super new member la (2) i don't even have prior co background (3) i'm in sc and some other pdp's didn't even let sc elects run! thank you so much for giving me the experience! i know my chances are not high la, but what matters is the experience. ooh...seems like some of them also like to read manga and watch anime! actually, i was feeling quite good after the interview.after that i went to help in banner painting. well we got all messy and barefooted and stuff and i think we did a pretty decent job considering our limited manpower at any point of time and also the time constraint. i'm still quite surprised that we could make a banner from scratch in one day. it took like ages to make a banner for band last time la. we were crapping while we did the banner lah and vidhi also crapped with us while she did the ics banner. it was quite enjoyable la. winnie and i left a bit earlier and i took the mrt to bugis. i got a haircut at the QB house tokyo-singapore there and i love it! it must be my best haircut in like months! so value for money! $10 for a great haircut! whoohoo! then i met up with my mum&bro and we had dinner at mosburger and we walked around for a while then the shops started to close.wow! today was great! other than sinking slightly into depression while waiting, i think it is terrific! somehow i think co is the source of all my enthusiasm, optimism, determination and energy in tj from now on lah. the people are great! the atmosphere is wonderful!(hey the co room is air-conditioned, sound-proofed, and even has a cozy corner complete with a sofa set!) and i feel closer to co members than my scg or cg! i'm so glad i joined co...*tears of joy*oh. maria said he was going to get a bag exactly like mine today. i guess i'll just have to find ways to decorate my bag so it looks different for easy identification.lalala, i'm going to happily practice my dizi now. then tomorrow i'll happily do my wonderful tutorials and preparation for chem SPA and mass dance test, which both fall on monday. well, until next time, cya~ oyasumi~
ouch...migraine...
aah...dunno why got migraine....so many things happened today...handed in form for CO comm together with ichun...we talked quite a lot today....went to aj to watch liting, yu ning and qi en. met waye ning, wei qi, fangli and the others there....dinner at kfc...ouch...this e best i can do...nitez....
possibly my best school day at TJ so far!!!!
current ringtone: revenG - Tsugaru (from DDRMax2)kuru~ today is probably my best school day at tj yet! first, we had our first 1/2 scg lunch! second, there was CO! yes, to first times in one day!!well, sunita talked to mke yesterday and said maybe i shouldn't have judged people too quickly, like BASD. i'm still not sure. but we had our first 1/2 scg lunch today despite the light drizzle! and i think i'm finally getting closer to the guys in scg 18/05! hmm...slowly things reveal themselves to show that scg 18/05 may not be that hopeless afterall.ooh!!!!!! today was my first time at co!! it r0x0rs!! the dizi is so fun!! i think i'm catching on quite comfortably. i'm learning how to blow so i can get the sound with more ease and also the fingering. i was practicing(or at least tried) the fingering of shi mian mai fu while they played it. oh ya, thanks are ichun! if u hadn't sms'ed me i might have to wait till dunno when then can play! the dizi people are quite friendly la. seniors include felicia(sat beside me today), yuan qu(sat beside felicia. vice chairman), guang xu(chairman) and ruan qing(she's the section leader. hmm...maybe need to talk more to her and guang xu since haven't really had the chance to talk to them today.). other year ones include ichun (the other n00b! her presence makes me feel not too out of place. but she got western flute background leh.), cray a.k.a. hock soon (fellow OIster! hmm..dunno y always never reply my sms one.), yan deng a.k.a lantern (another OIster! in percussion for now. but will come back next year if...) and that other guy whom i totally dunno and haven't talked to yet. somehow i feel more comfortable when during co leh. maybe because there's no politics. wah, thursday physics lecture test. better go study now. omg still got that physics self-test 1! well, until next time, cya~ oyasumi
tatakon de dodon ga don!!
official brothers4 arcade game of the year 2005: taiko no tatsujin oh yea! taiko no tatsujin is so fun! and i think it will actually build arm strength! and the taikos are so cute!ok, i woke today at around 11.30am and i had brunch and read some papers till around 1pm when i went out. ed and i went to bras basah to find fabric markers. we spent like 2 hours before finally finding one and it cost like $1.70.then we took the mrt and went to toa payoh and did the tee and file and our physics tutorials. there was some event at the amphitheatre outside the library and it was damn noisy la. got some idiot guys who tried to rap/sing with some rock music that they didn't play and it was pretty awful. then the shameless st. andrews jc co (they are one of the 2 that actually got bronze this yr) performed. we left at around 7pm. i bought smucker's blueberry jam at ntuc.we took the mrt down to orchard and i bought a cheesecake from miki ojisan no mise. it's my mum's mother's day prezzie! add the blueberry jam and u get blueberry cheesecake! lolz. then we went to cineleisure and ate subway. wah...very stressful one leh, first they will ask what sandwich then what bread then wether u want half(6 inch) or whole bread(1 foot) then veggie. i had a meal consisting of a italian BMT with hearty italian bread, all veg except pickles and mayo and mustard, lay's and coke.it's so confusing and stressful. i think the premade ones at tj are more comfortable to eat.then we walked to ps. the action city is so cool! they've got these really cool kakashi tees and sasuke tees! must go buy sometime soon! oh ya! they also got the stuffed toys of the taikos from taiko no tasujin!! sugoi kawaii!!! then we went to play taiko no tatsujin at zone x. there was this guy who played para para paradise with a fan. and ddrmax looks so fun also!anyway, we went home after that. today is pretty relaxed and not much emotions were stirred up.well, until next time, cya~ oyasumi~
take a breather!
wah....this week was crazy...2 tests and sc exco elections and not having done my tutorials during the weekend made it even worse. ok la, today aso got hc intro and husting which is pretty pointless since raimi is confirm delta house cap already. well, things are getting better la, i can feel it. i think i found my first group of close friends in tj! my sc clique!!!(still in progress of expanding) the seniors rock! we just hit off so well and we have so many things in common! things with some of the fellow elects also going quite good. next week going for CO liao!!! hope can make close friends there also!i also think i'm on the right track of catching up in terms of academic liao! so happy!!!sigh~ but whenever i think about scg 18/05 then i have mixed emotions. 1) i feel sad....y so hopeless.... 2) i feel anger...that stupid HOD of maths...how the hell she put this scg together one? and she let all e fun people assigned to 18 transfer to other scg la.seriously i think no hope liao la. all the cliques are like covalent molecules. very strong covalent intramolecular forces of attraction. but very weak intermolecular van der waals forces of attraction. they are bonded within their cliques but cliques do not mix well at all.i'm seriously considering doing what shi han is doing now, 'grafting' into another scg during lectures. i'll just go join the other scg during lectures and just turn up for tutorials and prac. for a normal class, people might see me as anti-social or having an attitude problem. but for the very special 18/05, nobody minds/cares, as evident from the response they give shi han. i think i'm going to need to find an scg that is the exact opposite of 18/05 la. i seriously think i'm in the wrong place and very demoralized. i hope that if i do this, i'll feel more encouraged and passionate by having their class spirit. i'll consider carfully.hmm...dunno y a lot of people say i'm very funny or very cute. oh dear...am i projecting the right image?oh ya, i've decided i'm sick of the place that i got my haircut and i'm going to try somewhere else.lu yuan (the ccc anual production)was great la! the plays may not totally clear but they were interesting. it was kinda fun to see how the girl next to me reacted when she saw her boyfriend getting cake smashed into his face time and time again on stage. i personally felt it was too short.well, until next time. cya~ oyasumi~ (oh ya, sorry ar cui yin for mispelling ur name. lolz)
back from camp...
i'm back!!! ok, actually i was back yesterday but i slept at 7pm and haven woken till like 8am. wah..going to leave for bedok soon for gpp. i hate pw!!! it's so pointless!!!!!! we spend so much effort to get e whole group to meet and then they want individual work like pi and evaluation. what crap.ooh...the camp was crazy!!! we had to do push-ups, run, and everything else lah. u know e torture camp type of stuff...the thing is, i wanted to compare it with slc but after the camp, i realised that they are too dfferent to be compared. it is true that we got a lot closer and tougher after council camp but the bonding is not the same type that we got through slc. on the other hand, we really pushed ourselves and have seen each other's strengths and weaknesses but slc was honestly a bit slack la.the seniors were really friendly and nice!!! i thought usually seniors would be really dao or wad one la but they really changed my perspective. well, both camps have been life-changing for me but in different ways i guess. well, i'm sure i know my elects better and i've definitely become closer to them. but i don't think there was enough inter-group interaction la. no time to talk too much. maybe i'll blog again tonight. until next time, cya~
