lectures at tj not bad la...still at an acceptable pace. had some talks and lectures today...sigh~ i think i'll only be exempted from partial fractions make-up lectures...hope something good will happen soon...until tomorow, cya... oyasumi~

RENAISSANCE II: day 3...and it all begins...

current download: [KAA] Gatekeepres21 ep1-6

this is crazy...too few seeds...it's taking forever to download....

anyway...i woke up the usual time of about 5:40am and freshened up and had breakfast, which consisted of some earl grey tea with tangerine and scones which i've bought at st.leaven's yesterday. set off at around 6:18am and reached the 135 bus stop at 6:25am. 135 came shortly at 6:27am. i reached paya lebar mrt at around 6:54am. i reached bedok at 7:03am. and managed to reach school at like 7:16am. i think i'll stick to bus 100.

we had wet games today! i'll just spare the details....so wet and dirty....oh ya, the sc did a really silly presentation to get people to sign up for sc in the next 3 days. hahaz, i'm signing up anways. found my 2 seconders, clarice and pek sia!! yea!! w00t!

after the wet games i was really exhausted. i washed up and bought my uniform. i bought 2 size 34 pants, 2 L shirts, 1 XL polo (last piece. getting another one tomorrow), 1 XL pe tee, 1 size 40 pe shorts (found that it's too small. exchanging for bigger size tomorrow.) and the tie! i'll have to take photos of myself tomorrow morning and edit into passport size and print out onto photo paper tomorrow before i leave for school. must wake up earlier. 5am? of course i'll change in polo before i leave.

after changing we went for mass dance. dance till we die. learnt 3 new dances today.... my clean and dry zhss pe tee also became soaked. bought my chem notes and got my dad to fetch me. haha. too lazy to take the bus and mrt with the big bag of clothes and notes and in my wet pe tee. oh yea, ed's ex-classmate siman recognized me and talked to me at zap! .(the photocopy shop) don't know what this means.

came home and found out that i'm in SCG 18/05!! it's triple science!! yay!! wonder who's in the same scg as me. anyone i know? hmm...

well, that's all for today. time for desperate housewives. until tomorrow, cya~ oyasumi~

saturday...wah...i'm broke...hahahaha...

current latest purchase: 1/144 HG Gaia Gundam ($26.90)
current dillemma: slippers? sandals? low-end? middle-range? high-end?

wow..i think i ate alot today...

i woke up at arnd 11am and brushed my teeth and had breakfast. breakfast consisted of half a hokkaido dome from breadtalk and some milk. after that i watched the gransazers and gundam seed.

after that, i changed and got ready to leave. that's when i realized that my shorts (including my new pair from billabong) cannot go with my shoes.(the new adidas one. i think they are cross-trainers. u don't seriously expect me to wear casual walking shoes to school and bring along my cross-trainers do you?) so, i decided i needed new sandals asap. of course i realized that slippers would also be fine but let's not discuss that because i wouldn't be in a dillemma if i could decide.

so i had some of the rice balls my mum made, grabbed some vitagen and left for amk. it was raining so i ran a little late and ed and momo started to dao me. right. i don't appreciate it at all. so we went to bishan and bought tickets to the eye 10 which i thought was stupid but since they wanted to watch. (see, i'm still nice even though they pissed me off) we walked around till it was time. ooh, we shared 2 packs of calbee corn snacks and i had a bottle of apple flavoured h-two-o during the movie. yes, we snuck it in. the h-two-o tasted horrible.

yea, as i expected, it was pretty crappy. it was the kind of thriller which just worked on the shock factor with a little humour which made it kinda messed it up.

after that we went to city hall and went to the espalnade to find qi en and chee kong. they were going to do "it" at the esplanade until 6pm or so. ("it" refers to some class thing but only ended up with only 2 of them...) we just left them to do whatver they wanted and momo went for a haircut.

we went to suntec and we walked....most of the gashapon machines were removed so it was kinda disappointing...but i found the gaia gundam model kit at the hobby shop there for only $26.90! who could resist? my shopping tip for model kits is to buy at hobby shops because it would be a few good bucks cheaper than department stores or comic shops.

after that, i was left with like around $5 excluding my emergency money.(orientation and the pair of shorts really drained a lot out of me. well, soon i won't even have time to think about shopping and begin to stockpile again.) so we had dinner at millenia walk. the food junction was kinda pathetic. i had minced pork noodles and a bowl of cheng teng. i splashed some kecthup on my white polo tee so i felt a little embarresed and sad.

so we went home after that but not before ed told momo about the other day and we started talking about personal stuff again.

so when i got home, i showered and sat down in front of the tv and watched while eating. let's see, i finished the bag of chips in the fridge.(great. i just realized that i made the same stupid mistake as ed by throwing the bag away...i need 2 to get a free personal pan pizza...) i had like 3 kit-kats, some of the artic roll and finished the final quarter of the hokkaido dome with another glass of milk. perhaps it's because i'm subconciously feeling upset that i'm running low on cash...or that i have to look for sandals or slippers again...or that i could have possibly stained my polo tee....but who knows?

well, that's it for today and until tomorrow, cya~ oyasumi~

good friday...ooh...new cd ripper...

current reccomended program: fairstars cd ripper

*yawnz* i woke up at 2.15pm today...skipped breakfast and had mini shepard pies for lunch. not bad for my mum's first attempt.

the afternoon just went by online and trying to remove the stupid bionicles game that my brother had installed....(still haven't found a way to uninstall)

went out in the evening to compass point for dinner with mum and greg. had kfc for dinner. walked around and i realized that my sandals were spoilt and i needed a new pair. walked, walked, walked....bought breadtalk for breakfast. bought a prima deli waffle for my brother. bought ice blended soya milk with grass jelly from mr.bean. went home.

since my easy cd ripper had some kind of problem, i started to look for an alternative. i tried around 5 crappy demo rippers until i found the fairstars one. it's freeware with no adware and has the basic features. good stuff.

yea..kind of a boring day...until tomorrow, cya~ oyasumi~

RENAISSANCE II: day 2.....omg...T'Gay'C

yea, they are nice and all but TJC people are sick!(well, mostly anyways) it's not as if we don't already have more than enough of sissies('maria' is a good example. yes, they also have maria at tjc) and guys labelling themselves 'gay'(dunno real or just for the fun of it la. people like weldon and meng kai. they are supposed to be a couple.). the girls are also sick lor. i think all the girls got some obsession with some gay fantasy or something...sigh~ continue reading to find out more...

today started off quite normally. i woke up late at around 5:50am and i managed to leave at 6+ and took bus 100 to aljunied and took the mrt to bedok and i walked to tjc. it took roughly 50min so it's a better route than taking bus only la. when i got there, clarice and e others weren't there yet, so i joined some of my ogmates. they were playing bridge and seriously it's the first time i've seen it. looks pretty easy though, just the bidding part a bit confusing. they were kinda willing to let me play and learn next time.

so we went to the hall for some time stallers. after they've stalled time, 2 student councillors came to promote the student council election. nomination starts next tuesday and each nomination requires a passport sized photo taken in college uniform with the tie and also the signature of 2 people who second you. hmmm....oh yea, one of the 2 councillors who came was like totally sissy.

we had briefing shortly after and off to the amazing race we went. we moved in cg's instead of an og.[civic's group is the group you are assigned to for civic's lesson and for orientation and house activities. an orientation group for this prientation is made up of 2 cg's in the same house. subject combination group is the group in which you will attend all lessons.] well, most of the 1st-intakers in the cg had an "amazing disapearance" and ponned. our ogl, sean, and i were the only guys left....we need more tetesterone here...help...ai jia was assigned to be our cg's facilitator.

our first station(we were assigned first stations) was at tanah merah. we got off the mrt and took a really long time walking around and asking around before we finally reached the jalan limau mannis playground which was right smack in the middle of some semi-detached houses. after completing our task, we went to expo. we walked from hall6 all the way to hall 1 and back to do our stupid tasks. uh-huh....then we went to the airport and did our task of sharing an eggtart. but, no, it doesn't stop there. ai jia finally shows her true self...she promised to give us 200 bonus points if i passed the remaining half of the eggtart to sean, mouth to mouth....yea, so we tried for the sake of the team and he knocked into my teeth...ouch. so we set off for eunos. on the train, ai jia asked if i knew weijie, so after being given sufficient clues (she pronounced his name wrongly man. don't blame me.), i finally realized who she was talking about, i told her he was my classmate. it turns out that ai jia is weijie's cousin!!!! OMG!!! talk about a small world...so at eunos, we tried to offer up to 5 passers-by a piece of tissue each. because of the singaporean mentality we took some time to get it done. we decided to have lunch at the nearby coffeeshop. i was telling sean about the singaporean mentality and that he might not understand because he's not singaporean and i got jabbed by ai jia. ouch. did i sound insensitive? i dunno leh. i think sean is a pretty cool guy and can take it one la.

after lunch, we went to city hall and did our tasks at city link and also the esplanade. after that, we headed back to bedok and finished our tasks and went back to tj. time to try to get bonus points agin...crap. this time from rachel tang. so we were supposed to do the "i like big butts and i can't deny" thing and sean and i were supposed to slap each other's a**....another example of tj's girls' fetish with forcing perfectly normal guys into doing 'unusual' things. the funny thing is, rachel tang is supposedly sean's girlfriend...tjc is a place where even your girlfriend can betray you...sigh~

after the race ended, we learnt e rest of the "let's get retarded" mass dance. so we dance under the hot sun again...great. after that, we tried to dance the s club mass dance and i have totally forgotten some parts. haha. the mass dances are killers i tell you. the couple dance which we haven't learnt still looks quite normal.

after we were dismissed, i went to bedok central and bought almond pate and black sesame paste and the nice uncle gave me a cup of lime juice for free. yay! unfortunately i just drank a mug of sugar cane juice. hahaz.

oh i've decided to buy my uniform on monday. i'm going to buy 2 pants, 2 shirts, 2 polo tees, 1 p.e. shorts, 1 p.e. t-shirt and 1 tie. tjc must be the only jc in singapore where you can wear the school polo tee instead of the shirt everyday other than wednesday when everyone must wear the full uniform with the tie. oh yea, we also have to wear the shirt during exams.

hmm...i think i'm going to nominate myself(sounds wierd but that's what we are supposed to do) for the sc election. now i need to find 2 persons to second me and to get that photo asap as nomination closes on next thursday. i know it must be wierd for a 2nd-intaker to want to run for council but i'm going to try anyway. it's going to be my last chace. heck care even if there are no points la.

well, that's all for today. until tomorrow, cya~ oyasumi~

The first day...wow...

current music: BoA Best of Soul

whee~ it's yet another orientation! i woke up at 5.15am today and prepared for school and had breakfast and set off at around 5:53am for tjc. i walked to central and reached at around 6:02am and waited for bus 100 which set off at 6:08am. i took the bus all the way to the bus stop right before mountbatten road at 6:27am. i walked over the the other busstop and waited for bus 12 which arrived at around 6:38am. i took the bus all the way to tjc and i reached at around 7:02am. the stupid journey took around an hour. i'm not going to take this route again.

i met up with clarice, ninja and miao^2 at the canteen. after a while, i had the urge to defeacate and excused myself. when i got the the toilet, i realized that they didn't provide toilet paper and there wasn't any pedestal toilets. great. thank God i brought tissue. after i was done, we went off to the auditorium.

i checked the list and found out that i was in OG16. so i went in and joined the group. i was given a piece of masking tape with my name on in and i put it on. great job char(one of the ogl's. i think her actual name is charlene), your ink hadn't dried yet and my hand was covered in pink ink. i sat around and didn't talk to anybody until after a while i decided to talk the shirley who was sitting next to me. oh yea, the og's are in such a way that 2 CG's (civics groups) are put together and 2nd intakers are thrown in to fill empty places (cgmates who are no longer in tjc). luckily for us, there are quite a number of 2nd-intakers so we don't really feel out of place. ooh, guess what, feldman is in my OG again. haha, what a coincidence. we have been ogmates for both jc orientations.

anyway, we did what any orientation would have. cheering, ice breakers, games, bribing the ic's for extra points,etc....

ooh we even pillared another of our ogl's, sean, and even laid down on the hot tracks spelling "16 (heart shape) Thanh(one of the ic's)" just for some stupid points. yay. oh ya, all the ic's and ogl's are j1's so it does feel wierd without having any j2's in charge AT ALL.

the tjc mass dances are far more difficult than the nyjc ones. the leg movements are crazy especially with the friction from the tracks. oh yea, we learnt the dances in the hot sun. w00t~ but they look nice la.

ok, some people i would mention for these 3 days at least.
char: ogl
raimi: ogl + clan leader (btw, i'm in Terranus. it's latin for earth)
sean: ogl. scholar from malaysia.
feldman: uhh...person i know best in the OG. lolz
kai dick: migrated from hk during pri school. i think we can get along pretty ok.
it's not that i won't mention other og members but i don't really know them yet.

well, that's all for today. so until tomorrow, cya~ oyasumi~

Epilogue and Prologue: part 2

so....the cut-off for ajc and tjc are both partial 7....and the cut-off for njc is partial 5(phew~)...

ed is very depressed today because of the posting results...he has appealed to tjc together with mankey. since they are at the cut-off, they stand a great chance of getting into tjc. so, i will get to see them again on monday because friday is good friday.

for tomorrow, i'll still be wearing zhss uniform. i'll have to bring p.e. attire and $13. i'll be meeting clarice outside tjc at 7am.

sooooo exciting...can't wait for the beginning of my (real) jc life. until tomorrow, cya~ oyasumi~

Epilogue and Prologue: part 1

Hallelujah!!!!!!thank God!!!!! i've got temasek jc!!! woo hoo!!! can say it's some sort of a miracle because i had put tjc as my 2nd choice as you all know!!!

apparently ny cut-off has dropped because even 11 points with bonus can't make it in!!! bad news for quite a lot of people i know who want to stay in nanyang.

by the way, today is the epilogue of the PAE and the prologue of my whole jc life at tjc!!!

well, i'll update once i get more info about the jae posting. cya later~

latest update: apparently tjc cut-off for this is has also dropped to 6 points after bonus. yes. that means ed didn't get in!!! he got posted to ajc...but he's appealing!! really really really hope that the appeal would be successful...[7:54AM]

Final Day...farewell NY....

current download: rozen maiden episodes 7-12

i don't think i'll ever return to NYJC...the final time i'll be wearing the merlion head(which is of course a lion's head)...

i went to school as usual today and they announced that we wouldn't need to go to school tomorrow so that we can check our posting results.(this is not the case for every jc for example those at ajc still have to go to school tomorrow and are supposed to check their results within the first period.) after assembly, we went to the hall and they screened supersize me. it's kinda scary and i'll give deeper consideration before eating fastfood. after the movie was over, i met wif some of the zhss guys and we ponned together.

yes, that was how my last day at ny was prematurely ended. i thank everyone in 05S7B and our teachers for being there for this first term and all the fun we had no matter how much or little. OG23 for having fun during the orientation and at our one and only OG outing. dragon boat/canoeing for the 1 week(3 trainings) which i attended. ODAC for the amazing experiences including the perilous night cycling trip. and finally the tennis club for not wanting me so i can have more fun at the other cca's.

anyway, after that, we went to mac for breakfast(they obviously wasn't paying attention to supersize me) and then went to weijie's place for smackdown 3 and dai dee.

after that, i went to zhss and met up with hui shan and we played monopoly with wei yu and qiaoru. after monopoly, we helped mr yeo with marking some of his papers.

what a crappy ending to the PAE huh....well, the posting results will be up tomorrow. i really hope things will go smoothly. if you don't know what i'm talking about, you can visit ed's blog and read his post for today.

well, until tomorrow. cya~ oyasumi~

time left till results: 7hrs 50min

sunday...as promised...

current dillemma: gundam? slippers? cd? manga? mag?

well, i was really tired yesterday...i woke up at about 10+ and watched pokemon and gransazers and gundam seed before setting off for orchard. i think i reached orchard rather promptly and i got stalked by another one of those people getting $5 donations to help ex-prisoners. i don't have anything against them but it's a little annoying to get stalked at every mrt station. especially when they do the 'brother' thing.

anyway, ed tried to save me by giving me a call and i managed to escape. so we set off in search of my shorts when momo called ed to say that he wasn't coming anymore. so we walked.....and then we went to kino. we just hung around the manga section and after some effort, i managed to find a chinese version of the rozen maiden manga. hmm...didn't some bitchy shop attendant say there wasn't such a thing on monday? i'm going back to tp tenchi and ask for it again. i'm going to show that bitch who's boss...!roar!

anyway we went to heeren and couldn't find ones that i wanted and so we went to cathay and bought itckets to the spongebob movie. we then went back to takashimaya and met up with my mum and bro. then they just stayed around the toy dept whereas ed and i continued the search. i finally managed to buy a pair of billabong board shorts at isetan! yes!!!! my brother bought a braintwist for his early birthday present.

after that we went for the movie. it was actually quite lame and very much standard for anything spongebob. ed went home after the movie while i had dinner with mum and greg at mosburger ebfore we went home.

well, as promised....here's this week's

SUNDAY DISCUSSION

hmm...what i think of the various jc's...let's do it alphabetically...(do bear in mind this is totally my opinion and i may or may not be a reliable source)

Anderson JC: well, i had originally wanted to come here and even put it down as my first choice for pae. the main attractions were the idea of joining tennis, it's distance not being too close nor too far from my place and also the famous aj ice (basically a really cheap super sized ice kacang). however i wasn't posted there and looking back now i'm quite glad i wasn't. the reasons for why i'm no longer as interested are (1) they have bad character: the teachers actually laughed at those who tried to appeal in. if the teachers have such sucky character, how much better would the students they nurture turn out to be? (2) they actually accepted people who had no common sense at all but didn't accept me for pae: one of the classes in charge of decorating the fountain for chinese new year actually folded ang pao goldfish and threw them into the fountain. genius right? (3) some of the people i don't like are(were?) there: let's not mention names shall we? many zhonghuarians. said to have made it to the top 5 for last year's a level's after being at no. 6 for waaaaay too long. but who knows(cares)?

holiday...ooh...suntan...

activity for the day: swimming/playing at jurong east swimming complex

wow~ today ed, and i met at amk mrt at arnd 1pm then we met up with momo. we took the train down to jurong east and changed lines to chinese gardens. we met casper there so i told him that we're going in first and that we will meet inside.

since my mum was helping out at the childcare downstairs this morning, i didn't have lunch so i juz grabbed a piece of fried sweet potato and a you tiao(fried doughsticks). we walked to the pool, got in, rented floats, changes, put our stuff into lockers and went off to have fun.

we started off at the lazy river. after a few rounds, we went to take the pink slide because the blue one was closed for maintenance. it was quite thrilling. then we went to the wave pool where we spent a lot of time. we taught momo how to swim and i realised i don't know the style where you have to keep kicking your legs and have to move your arms in a circular motion. after a long long time and several wave sessions later(they have 1 hour intervals between each one), we saw a couple practically making out in the pool. earlier, i've already seen another one where their top are hugging but the girl's legs are already wrapped around the guy under the water surface. anyways, we decided to watch a free show and we formed a triangle with our floats and kept rotating so we can take turns to see. i think the most suspicious looking ones were us, 3 guys forming a triangle and kept rotating non-stop. momo suggested that we should call ourselves something so i suggested "the rotating trio". anyway we soon realuized that there were couples making out in various directions so we just kept watching until the waves started coming and we went back to whatever we were doing before peeping.

after that we went to the slides again, then the jacuzzi, then the lazy river again before returning our floats and taking a shower.

after that we grabbed waffle from rpima deli before walking to the mrt station. we took the train further down to boon lay and had dinner at long john's silver at jurong point. momo and ed ordered e promo hot and spicy chicken set and i ordered a combo set 1. the girl must have thought that i was cute or something (okok, maybe i just looked really tired and hungry)because she gave me an extra piece of chicken. lucky~ so we finished our dinner and went to the arcade to play "taiko no daren 6"(i think that's what's it's called. it's e game with the big drum") it's quite fun but not really challenging.(or maybe it was because we played easy mode)

well, before we went home i wanted to grab some more you tiao but only 1 piece of hum jin peng was left but i wanted to buy anyway. the kind auntie only charged me 50 cents!!!that's 10 cents cheaper! lucky again~

now my arms have a more balanced tan and my tanloine on my arm is gone!! yay!! i look darker!!...for now. hey, i honestly think guys don't have to be really tan to look good. haha. not everyone can not become too tan ok. can also look good in a different way.

well, that's it for today. until tommorow (or rather today), cya~ oyasumi~

holiday...nothing wrong with my english ok...

activity for the day: went to toa payoh

wah...seriously...no wonder singapore slipped in ranking for quality of service...after i mustered my courage and overcame my shyness, i finally asked one of the shop assistants at tenchi comics wether there is a chinese version of rozen maiden. she didn't know so she referred me to another shop assistant(description: wears plastic frame specs and i think her nickname is "no-no"). so she asked me for the title and i said "rozen maiden". guess what, she obviously couldn't understand me because she said "please speak proper english. don't speak singlish." in a stupid attitude tone and crappy accent. from the way she speaks chinese i do believe she's from china or taiwan or some other place other than singapore. hello? rozen maiden is pronounced "roe-zen may-den". nothing singlish with that. if i wasn't already flustered i would have scolded her and even hao lianed to her by saying something like "hello? i've got a1 for english ok. what do you mean by speak proper english?" is that the kind of attitude a shop assistant should have? now i prefer the amk branch because they obviously provide better service and they shop assistants actually come up to you and ask wether they may provide any service as compared to tp where i had to approach the shop assistants and be 'suaned' by them. horrible service.

on the way home, i discussed hair with ed and i told him about my problem with my sides sticking out and he suggested to use conditioner. i also told him i needed a haircut so i think i'm going for a haircut on friday. crap. i'm going to be really broke after this week especially on shopping for my shorts on saturday.

well, i tried conditioner and things seemed to improved a little so i'll try conditioner for a while longer and see if it'll get fixed.

tomorrow is going to be lots of fun! well, until tomorrow, cya~ oyasumi~

sunday...removed adware!

current fave programs: cwshredder ver. 2.13 and hijackthis ver. 1.99.1

yay!!!i finally removed that stupid adware which reset my homepage and prevented me from accessing yahoo or hotmail! credits to the people at short-media forums for helping me out once again!!!

well, because of the stupid adware which i stupidly got because i was trying to find the mp3 of toxic.....i couldn't post yesterday. so, i'm going to make up for it now.

yesterday was great!! some of e 05s7b people (which includes xiao yan, pei si, weiling, hew ting, hui sin, wen hui and me) met at around 10+ outside dhoby ghaut mrt where 'sports character' , something like a sports fair, was being held. honestly, we were all quite disappointed when we first saw it because it was MUCH smaller than we had expected and only featured like only 6 types of sports and we were there early so things were still being set-up. so we just browsed through and went into plaza singapura. there we ate long john's silver and the girls shopped while wen hui and i just tagged along. after window shopping for quite a while, we decided to go take another look at the fair. we saw a booth for a multi-sports camp for next week and since we were told it's free, almost all of us signed up and i even helped ed and momo sign up (after calling them and invited them to come along of course). after we signed up, it just so happened that it was time for a ultimate frisbee try-out session so all of us decided to go for it.

it was still kinda early so we were the only ones who wanted to try. the pro guys taught us how to throw backhand and forehand. similarly to my tennis play, my forehand for frisbee also sucks. i felt that it was pretty awkward and i just couldn't get enough spin. only after being taught by one of the pro guys, then i realized my mistake of not pulling my wrist back enough to give it the extra spin. it was really fun although our frisbees flew everywhere and almost hit passers-by and mine kept flying towards xiao yan even though i was supposed to throw it to michelyn (oh yea, she met up with us earlier while we were shopping i think) and even hit her head several times. after practicing, we split ourselves into 2 groups and played against each other. the actual game is something like captain's ball played with a flying disc on a rugby field. after that, we played against 3 of the pro guys. after the games, they talked to us more about ultimate frisbee and told us that they usually play on fridays near the 'chopsticks' war memorial and we were free to join them. we took a group photo with the pro guys before we moved on. it was so fun and we all sweat a lot! if only frisbee was a cca...

next, we went over to the rock wall that was erected for rock-climbing. all of us except pei si and michelyn (i think) went for it. we took photos of us climbing and at the top. i was pretty amazed that could climb all the way to the top! yay! it was so fun! i want to join tj rock-climbing! woohoo!

after that we took a break and went into ps again. after wasting more time, we came out again to wait for some of the girls to get their free temporary tatoos (u know, the glittery kind.). once they were done, we took the train to marina bay!

once there we bought kites! some of us bought 1 per person while others shared. i shared with wei ling because i didn't come yesterday and wasn't quite sure how to fly a kite. we crossed over to the field and flew our kite. i would say that it was quite successful because it flew quite easily and we really had a good time! unfortunately, we walked too close to the next field where people were fighting kites (u know, trying to cut each others strings) and our kite got cut off and it flew into the horizons.....well, we went over to get another kite but the paper ones similar to what we had bought were all sold out so we bought a plastice one with pikachu printed on it! we bought another roll of string and off we went. this time was even better! the kite could fly so high that we had to tie the string to the remaining string from the first spool! it was really high and we had so much fun! but some idiots just came onto the field and chased all of us out just because they wanted to play soccer. bastards. we no choice but to stand outside the field right behind the fighting field. yes, as expected our pikachu got cut off and it was goodbye to pikachu. we packed up and left because it started drizzling.

after that we decided to go to city hall for dinner and i bid them farewell once we got to suntec as i was meeting my mum. that was the 3rd time this week that i had gone to suntec. great. so we met up and had dinner at pasta mania and we walked over to the tower where carrefour was and took a walk. my mum bought 2 big plastic drawers which we had to lug back all the way home and we took the bus mind you.

it was really fun!!! well, since i'm in such a good mood and i still have plenty of time, let's have a sunday discussion!! woohoo!

SUNDAY DISCUSSION

let's talk about....my interests! well, in case you still have picked it up from my previous posts.(i think i covered this area before in one of the earlier posts but as u know, interests may change with time. this is especially fast for certain people...)

GIRLS!! - yea. which normal, hot-blooded male isn't interested in girls? of course we have to click mentally and emotionally but i tend to prefer girls with longer hair. hahaha. long legs aso not bad. i like sweet and gentle girls with a little tanginess. adds more spice to life. heh heh heh...oh yea....i aso love despo housewives (well somehow it ties in with girls rite?)!!! the story is so funny and sexy at the same time! lol!

Tennis - one of my favourite sports! nopez, i'm not the basketball or soccer kind. i usually prefer games with some kind of stick or 'weapons' as called by ed and some others who know how dangerous i am with them. yup, i don't think i'll get to play badminton with ed again after afflicting injury upon him several times. haha. i like tennis because it has more possibilities to gameplay as compared to badminton due to the different effect of the different spins of the ball. okok, being able to run around in the sun is another reason why i prefer tennis. so should i join tennis? hmm....

anime & manga - who can live without them! i love spending hours reading and watching them. (even though i don't really enjoy the part where i have to fork out large amounts of money and also finding more space for my ever-increasing stash of goodies. kekeke) so many different styles of drawing!! yea, i admit i still watch power rangers or masked rider or gransazers sometimes. (oh yea, e latest is dekurangers, masked rider hibiki and justirisers i think). pokemon is also great! even though i know the story basically reccurs every episode, i somehow never get tired of it. the digimon anime also rocked! too bad no more liao. hope they will make a new series soon. the latest movie was a little disappointing though. i think i still prefer the digimon having human partners and like evolves in the midst of battle when the human shows some kind of attribute (eg. courage, hope, love, etc.). currently dling and watching rozen maiden. looks pretty interesting.

swimming/pl aying with water rides - this has partly got to do with my slight inferiority complex because i simply can't get tan no matter how hard i try. i'm fairer than most guys and even though i know fairer guys can still look good, i still try to get tan. stupid rite? haha. i usually end up either sunburnt or my slight tan just wears off in days. it's a blessing and a curse. so, what better way to be in the sun and keep cool than swimming?

kayaking - like i said i like sports with stick-like things and paddles are included. i simply fell in love with it the first time i kayaked. i've also tried canoeing but i still prefer kayaking because it's less complicated when it capsizes. unfortunately, i haven't gone for the course which gives me some kind of lisence to rent kayaks. hmm...

rock-climbing - yea it's fun but i don't think i'm very good at it. it builds power in all muscle groups and also the brain which is a good thing. but of course practice makes perfect! so should i join tennis...or rockclimbing...or maybe they'll both kick me out then i join taekwondo. hahahaha. (a bit too psycho abt posting results liao, so pls bear with me.)

frisbee !!NEW!! - i never expected it to be so fun!!! can really run around and sweat it out! and the pros are quite friendly.(ok la, i be truthful. got chio bus. u happy now?) the equipment isn't too expensive either. fortunately it's not available as a cca or else i'll have a bigger headache!!!!!

shorts - wearing or shopping for them. ok la, it's more of a preference than interest. jeans are so hot and uncomfortable to wear. so i only wear my levi's for more formal occasions usually. shorts are so cool and comfortable. oh, that reminds me, i need new shorts!! recently i've been stuck with only a few pairs because the rest are quite uncomfortable! must schedule one day next week for shopping.(must sound like a wierd thing for a guy to do but we still need to get clothes rite? where do you think we buy our clothes from? the shopping channel?)

music/karaoke - i like to listen to many kinds of music. english, mandarin, japanese, korean. pop, anime, hip-hop or jazz also can. i also love to sing and i love to visit karaoke! so far, i've only had one bad experience at kbox.(the most recent one) their selection of songs are being updated quite regularly and the price is still in acceptable range.

well....that's my main interests. i don't think i'll do another discussion about my interests like this again. if i have any new interests i'll just post about it by itself. next week on sunday discussion: what i think of the various jc's.

so, until tomorrow, cya~ ja ne~

Day 50...maybe the last day...

current read: naruto chapter 251

ny had a half day today in celebration of the good results so clarice and i decided to crash aj. on our way out, we met feldman who decided to tag along with us.

at aj, we tried to sneak in but we couldn't so we walked in by the main gate and put our names down and got ourselves visitors' passes (a yellow sticker). everyone was in the middle of lessons when we got there so the three of us sat down and played BINGOL and BING (variations of BINGO) until we saw bamboo and decided to tag along and join his class for GP. their GP teacher was absent today and the relief teacher showed us some documentary. after gp, we went to the auditorium with bamboo and his class and met up with ed and his class.

after the chem lecture clarice and i joined ed for civics and even managed to convice their civics tutor that we were from anderson. lol. around half of the class went off for a trip to biopolis in the middle of the lesson. after civcs was lunch and we had fried hokkien noodles at the aj canteen. it wasn't the best i've tasted but at least it's better than noodle's hut at ny. after lunch, we went for chem tutorial which was practically a talk cock session because none of the the remaining in the class had the mood to talk much about chem and the teacher can't possibly teach with only half the class present. after chem, most of the remaining decided to pon project work lecture except for liting and another girl who went. they returned shortly because there was only 1 class in the auditorium at the lecture. we couldn't leave either because it was raining. when the rain finally stopped, we left and took a bus to jalan kayu.

at jalan kayu, we had prata from the famous prata stall(brings back some memories from several weeks ago....) this time, i had 1 plain prata and 1 prata with butter and sugar and also had teh-ice. the prata plain was tiny and wasn't really special but the butter and suger prata was wonderful.....the tea a bit diluted la but still ok ba.

after prata, we took the same bus back to yio chu kang and took the mrt to city hall in which we pretty much wandered around aimlessly and met up with qi en and alvin who had went to biopolis. when we were at the koi pond and qi en was feeding the koi, darren called and said he was meeting up with us. right after he arrived, kerrin had to go meet up with her ither friends and he looked so shocked, disappointed, cheated and sad. he kept clutching his chest like he was going to have a heart attack or vomit. some of us decided to get some food. while they were buying bk, wilfred's fren from his sec sch came. ed seems pretty interested in her. kekekeke. anyway, we went up to the park thingy above the fountain of wealth and ate (dinner?). after eating, we decided to walk around and left darren and wilfred's fren, sin yi(spelling?), talking to each other as sin yi was counselling darren. after that, a few of them (including sin yi who had to return to work at the exhibition and darren) left. we continued to wander around and ended up at the playground at the sky gallery. we played catching and also daidee until wilfred's mum called and we decided to head home.

ed's class is so fun!! i wish my 05s7b could have been as much fun but, well, it would be quite difficult with around half of the people being e sian-sian guai-guai type. well, lemme give my first impressions on some of his soon-to-be-ex-classmates:

kerrin - the class rep. she's really loud, fun and daring all in a good way. pretty generous. knows momo. unfortunately she has a big problem...(see below)

qi en - (nt 1st impression la) looks like aileen. likes the esplanade. sings! fun!

li ting - (nt 1st impression aso) looks like angela zhang shao han?(to be debated) yu ning's best friend. sings well. fun!(more so at kbox because she's normally kinda quiet.)

alvin - (nt 1st impression aso) looks like dominick. like singing too. fun!

wilfred - super lame! (actually i also la. haha.) fun! another victim....

xi peng - botak! fun! knows momo. has a crush on *?*?*?*?*

darren - one guy who doesn't know how to give up. even when given hints by kerrin, he relentlessly asks her to be his stead and even try to sound intimate but it just all goes very wrong. according to ed, likes to act smart esp. in front of teachers. will his next target be sin yi?

simon - a rather lustful and perverted guy. other than looking out for girls, he also has a list of sexiest guys in the class.....has commented that wilfred looks sexy in the anderson p.e. t-shirt...

well, that's it for today (meant to be for 11 march). until tomorrow, cya~ oyasumi~

Day 47...what if....

current music: ali project - kinjirareta asobi
current torrent dl: rozen maiden ep3

recap: my aunts called me up on sunday. aunt judy sounded pretty disappointed when i told her that i had applied for NYJC as first choice. so, she obviously called aunt shirley. she called me and told me that it was a bad decision because by choosing ny i was just taking the easy way out. she said that many of her students could go to the jcs that i wanted to go to but couldn't and here i am giving my chance up. she then suggested choosing some of the top colleges. i was using the speaker phone and just so happened my dad was close enough to hear and he just went along with it and it was almost immediatly decided that i would change my application to national jc. well, i have nothing against it but it's just that i haven't even been there to take a look. well, so i ammended my application to:
1) national jc
2) temasek jc
3) anderson jc
4) nanyang jc
5) catholic jc
and paid $10 to change the application. we even took a ride outside the njc compounds that night and it did feel pretty nice. we also went around tjc and i realized the time it would take to get to either of the jc's by myself was going to be from 30 min to around 1 hr depending on which one i get in. of course i told ed abt changing and he also changed. things best friends do to stay in the same school huh...(WARNING! mr. hana-chan a.k.a. ming hui has been going around telling people that ed is a gay leaving aj for another gay. do take notice that this is NOT TRUE. please do not be taken in by these baseless accusations because we are certainly NOT GAY. do keep in mind that ming hui has NOT A SINGLE REAL FRIEND and wouldn't understand friendships at all. i do forgive him for his ignorance and inability to comprehend friendship due to lack of experience.)

on monday morning, ed smsed me telling me about what ming hui has been doing to ruin our good reputations. he also told me that he just recalled that hana might be ging to njc too. crap. later the day, momo called me. ed told him that we changed our jae application. he feels very cheated because he changed his application to nyjc partly because of us. when he called me he told me he wanted to put ajc as his first choice again. obviously i have been wasting my saliva and time explaining to him how the jc goes through the applications and that ajc cut-off for science is 9 pts and that there wouldn't be much point trying to apply. i think he got pretty pissed because he has to ammend his application again and pay another $10. (personally i don't see why nyjc is a bad choice if we r nt there. there are many zhonghuarians in nyjc and it is also higher ranked than momo's other choice, yishun jc) he hasn't been talking to me and i guess i'll leave him to cool off first. i hope he reads this and understands that changing the application wasn't entirely my choice.

right. i've already thought about the worst case senario which might occur since ed has 7pts after bonus and i have 6pts.
worst case senario: i get njc. ed gets tjc. hana goes to either njc or tjc. ???? doesn't get into njc.
i have thought about possible constructive solutions for the wcs.
soln 1: ed appeals into njc
soln 2: i appeal into tjc and get scolded

kevin made me think about an additional point in school today. what if i don't get my subject combination of triple science if i get into njc? since they only offer classes with 4 a level subjects, it means i have to take a subject that i don't want. i really pray hard that things will go smoothly.

eew. i just went to have a look at my agar plate and saw a few maggots that has crawled out of the petri dish despite on the petroluem tape.(oh yea, maggots started growing on the agar a few days ago.)

ooh....i reccomend the double delight oreo and also the dunno what brand apple pie cookie! the dbl dlite oreo has peanut cream and chocolate cream in it!!! and the apple pie cookies taste like apple strudel!!!! so yummy....*drool* i think ntuc has the dd oreo on offer form only $1.10 and the apple pie cookie is $2.95!! must try!!! brownie style cookie available too.

well, that's all i have to say for today. until tomorrow, cya~

2)temasek jc
3)st andrew's jc
4)catholic jc

momo's internet connection is finally fixed and he has started a blog!! yay!!

well, nothing much to say so, till tml, cya~ oyasumi~

Day 43...2days after results...

current mood: T_T
current music: angela zhang shao han - shou xin de tai yang

i know many people would want to hit me after this post but seriously there are tough and painful choices to be made no matter what score you get...

ok, i got a totally unexpected and shocking 7 for my L1R5 which can be considered pretty good. i did went on stage with all the other 6 and 7 pointers. the day of release of results was ok except for the part when mr. Ang and mr. ED Wong gave me my results slip and told me "you were lucky. edwin and hui fang deserved more than you to go on stage (ed got more a1's than me and they did rank better than me in class usually. but only clarice and i went up with a 6 point and 7 point respectively.)" i mean it wasn't my fault that something went wrong with hui fang and that ed's only non-a1 was a b3 for english, giving him an 8. i worked hard for this lor...i think 8 distinctions is already pretty good even if 2 of them are a2's. i feel that it is extremely biased of them to say those things and totally unfair to me. yes, even though i'm really grateful for all you've done, if by any chance either of you are reading this, you should know that you've hurt me by saying those things...anyways, ed, momo and i went to plaza singapura and watched white noise. it was pretty ok but nothing really outstanding. after that we walked to city hall where we took the mrt to bugis and had dinner and went home.

the day after that, i went to wei qi's house with waye ning and yu ning to watch the season finale of charmed which yu ning taped down. after that i went to kbox with momo, ed, kelvin and some girls. it was a horrible experience. there was one of them ,han ying aka honey, who was especially outstanding. she was really loud and off key and didn't know how to show respect to others when they are singing, that's when she's not hogging the mike that is. she would still hog even when it's songs not selected by her and she already confesses that she didn't know how to sing those songs. i would NEVER go to kbox with her again. after kbox momo, ed and i walked to compass point and had dinner and went home.

we have to return to school today. so i went to school in a confused state. i had to submit my jc applications by friday but when i went to school today, a lot of my friends told me to leave for 'greener pastures". that reminded me of my dream jc...temasek jc. i've never really talked much about it because i never thought that i could enter it. i really like the atmosphere and cca's and everything but...the distance is the major push factor...on the other hand, nyjc is ok but it's super close to my house too, which is both a pro and a con by itself. i was super troubled so i didn't go for odac today.(my excuse was that i had a migraine. which was kinda true.) i went to ed's place where we just practically did nothing but we did discussed the possibility....i know this seems pretty stupid but we want to go to the same jc....it would take me at least 40 min to get to temasek but it would take him over an hour....i don't know now....other than distance we have to consider the "small fish in big pond and big fish in small pond" factor...

my heart says temasek, my brain says ny...i really hope i won't regret my final decision......

well, no matter what, i hvae to hand in my ogl form tomorrow because it's the dateline. i really hope i will feel better and would be in the mood to go for petanque........until tomorrow, oyasumi....
